Brownies

I started these socks when we had a knitnic last time, seven brothers yarn seems to be a hit this summer!

Dad´s socks

These socks I knitted for my dad for summer. Seven brothers again, not very summery, I admit :-) But they are a bit shorter than the winter versions...

Socks for charity

These were my charity socks earlier this year. All of them 7 brothers of Novita, basic sock patterns.

Socks for my sister

I knitted these socks for my sister for her birthday. The yarn is Schoeller Stahl's Fortissima Socka and I used 2½ mm needles. They are just basic socks, but the colors are nice and my sister's favorite colors.

Pippi Socks

I got inspired by the colors of my Seven brothers and decided to do crazy stripey socks. The stripes are made at random, but I think the end result looks kind of cool. They actually remind me of Pippi Longstockings.

I think this is the sixth pair of socks I've made this year, so I'm not even halfway through this year's challenge.

Correction: this is my seventh pair, so I am over halfway through.

Train socks

I knitted two pairs of baby socks for a charity. The socks are given to newborn babies in the local hospital. The pattern is called Train Socks, the yarn is Sirmione sock yarn, and I used 2½ mm needles. One pair was actually knitted during a train ride from Vaasa to Rovaniemi and back.

Socks for charity

Our project this year is to knit thirteen pairs of socks in 2013, and here are my first pairs. These are for a charity cause in Vaasa. The socks are donated to children for example in an orphanage. These are all basic socks made with Novita 7 veljestä and Novita Nalle (second from the left), and the sizes range from 42 to 26.
